Community & Charity

The Vista Ford Lincoln family is grateful for the many year’s of support from our local communities of Woodland Hills, Oxnard, and surrounding cities. We feel it is our responsibility to give back to our local community whenever possible. We participate and sponsor many local events, and donate to several charities that are local as well as national. Below is a list our past and upcoming community and charity involvement.

10th annual National collector car appreciation day car shoW

July 14th, 2019

Vista Ford Lincoln of Oxnard is proud to once again be the host of the Southern California National Collector Car Appreciation Day Car show. This will be the 10th year of the event, and the 2nd year that Vista Ford Lincoln of Oxnard will be the official host of the event at the dealership.

Three days before the start of the show, our staff moves every single vehicle (more than 300) to one side of the lot to clear out enough space for this sell-out event. All years of every make and model are welcome at this event including classics, JDM, tuners, muscle cars, lifted trucks, lowered trucks, low riders, hot rods, rat rods, and everything in between.

The community comes out by the thousands to the event to check out all of the beautiful display vehicles as well as visit dozens of food and retail vendors that line the lot.

4th Annual port hueneme show & shine

The Port Hueneme Show & Shine is organized by the 1st Petty Officer’s association of the Naval mobile Construction Battalion 4 out of Naval Base Port Hueneme. This was the 4th event and as expected, it grew even more with more than 200 cars in attendance, and more than 2000 spectators and participants.

The proceeds from this event go towards two great organizations. The first is the NMCB-3 1st Class Petty Officer’s Association which is an organization made up of the E-6 Rank service members of NMCB-3 that host various morale and welfare events throughout the year for their command. This is an integral part of any command to keep up morale within the ranks which creates increased es·prit de corps within the unit. The second organization that the proceeds go towards is the Port Hueneme Auxiliary Police Department. The many times thankless job of the local police departments can go under funded and without needed equipment in order to do their job properly. It’s donations like this that help supplement these departments to help acquire and maintain important equipment.

Here at Vista, we have several military veterans within our staff that are an integral part of the Vista Family. We support our military service members as much as possible. Without their hard work and dedication to duty, we wouldn’t have the freedoms we have today.

Thank you for your service, and we look forward to nest year’s event!
